Dexter has so many facets to his character. The producers of this great show spend alot of time developing how we as the audience see Dexter. How many actual serial killers do you hope will get away with their crimes? Every sunday night for near three years now I find myself feeling a confusing sense of guilt for sincerely wishing Dexter keeps murdering and not getting caught. Does this make me a horribly nasty evil person? I don’t know, but I do know this is good evidence the writers and producers of Dexter are doing their job and they’re doing their job well.

This weeks episode is titled “Finding Freebo” because last week Dexter went to kill Freebo and wound up killing the brother of a district deputy attorney, letting Freebo slip right through his fingers. Oops! Dexter’s always making some kind of error in judgment. This is his second obvious error this season. His first was getting his girlfriend Rita pregnant. Actually Dexter’s third possibly detrimental foul up occurred last night. Immediately upon completing his mission of killing Freebo the deputy district attorney showed up, catching Dexter with fresh blood on his hands. Dexter quickly blankets the district deputy attorney with a covering of lies. These lies mean nothing to the district attorney, who is over-joyed Dexter has just rid the earth of Freebo. He then offers to help Dexter clean up the mess and get rid of all the evidence. Dexter says “I’ll take care of it, you should go, plausible deniability”. All in all it was a fine intimate moment shared between Dexter, the D.A., and the audience.

Freebo’s now dead and it looks like Dexter will be paling around with the D.A. for awhile, who appears to be enamored with Dexter for his kind act of revenge. I love how Dexter gets giddy just before, during, and after a kill. Everything associated with killing truly is a fix for him. I really miss his narcotics anonymous sponsor Lila. She was slightly more nuts than Dexter however they still could have found room to bring her along with the rest of the cast into this season.

There’s one other killer on tv who I’m beginning to fall in love with. The irresistibly sexy Summer Glau. She plays John Connor’s terminatrix protector or protectress on “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. She sometimes exhibits strange flaws in her thinking and behavior. For instance last week she kept looking up a chimney listening to birds chirp. She then tried unsuccessfully a few times to get permission from Sarah Connor to kill the birds. She couldn’t rid her mind of killing these birds. She’s going through some kind of identity crisis right now. She’s actually learning who she is just like any other sentient being. Her psyche is different from yet right on par with Dexters.

I know I got a little off topic but I hope this will tide you over until next weeks episode and my review of it. FanPop.com is a good place to find just about anything from articles to news to videos on Dexter or Michael C. Hall. I hope everyone has a great week. See you all back here next week.

This weeks episode titled "I Am Become Death" is set 4 years into the future. First, Matt Parkman is induced by a substance to see the future, so we end up in the future via Matt Parkman. Then, picking up from last weeks ending, future Peter Petrelli arrives in the future with Peter Petrelli from the present. We end up in the future through multiple angles and I'll definitely have to watch this again to get a better grasp on this.

Upon arriving in the future Peter Petrelli from this future is shot down and killed by Claire Bennet leaving Peter Petrelli from our time to fend for himself. He escapes Claires wrath and then seeks out our mysterious genetics professor Mohinder Suresh, where he promptly pulls information out of Mohinders mind leading him next to Sylar. Sylar, a once ordinary timepiece restorer dreaming of a chance to become special, explains to Peter that he's his brother. Peter doesn't seem very shocked by this. Sylar now has a young child he's raising named Noah of all names. Peter tells Sylar he's here to take Sylars powers upon himself in order to save the world. Sylar winds up teaching Peter how to use his power. Claire and her band of evil cohorts show up to kill Peter and instead only succeed in killing Sylars son. I mean Gabriels son, as he is no longer Sylar. In an eerily similar manner to the first season finale Sylar then loses control of his nuclear power and blows up the entire city of Costa Verde.

Our Peter escapes this destruction and can be found in the morgue staring at his future dead self. Claire begins to torture him when Nathan arrives and takes things into his hands. Nathan decides to let Peter go, but this isn't enough for Peter. He now has Sylars insatiable hunger for more powers and to understand how everything works. Peter proceeds to cut off his brother Nathans head and take his power. He then teleports himself back to our present, confronting the present version of Sylar with the fact that future Sylar gave him his powers, and then we're left hanging until next weeks episode.

Hiro and Ando are being held by the Company the entire episode. All we hear is the same back and forth bickering between them in regards to Hiro no longer trusting Ando because Ando kills him in the future. Angela Petrelli takes them from their cell and has a talk with them. She tells Hiro he's the only with enough information to do anything about our impending calamitous future. We then find Hiro and Ando digging up Adam Monroe from the grave Hiro put him in at the end of last season.

Matts future includes his new wife Daphne Millbrook, our lady of the blessed acceleration, and their adopted daughter Molly Walker. Daphne shows up at the front door after escaping Sylars nuclear explosion, then drops dead in front of Parkmans eyes. Parkman then comes to and he's still in Africa. It was all just a vision of the future and now they must change it. We then see Matt following a turtle around the African desert in search of his animal totem.

Tracy Strauss tries to kill herself by jumping off a bridge. Nathan flies in and makes a quick rescue and flies her back to his room where they begin to share intimacies. We expected this because in the future Nathan is once again the President and Tracy is his First Lady.

Rest easy until next week when I'll see you all back here for the next weekly recap installment. Have a great week and don't forget to check out FanPop.com where you can find Heroes videos, images, links, articles, news, forums, and quizes. This is an amazing fansite to visit.

evil claire bennetIf you missed the latest episode of ‘Heroes’, ‘One Of Us, One Of Them’, don’t worry, I’m sure you can find links to videos of all episodes on fanpop.com. ‘Heroes’ may currently be the best show going other than Showtimes ‘Dexter’, which recently aired episode 1 of season 3. I’m here to give you a few details about the last episode of ‘Heroes’.

Matt Parkman, played by Greg Grunberg, is stuck in Africa on a spirit walk after being teleported there by future Peter Petrelli in the first episode. Parkman became aware that future Peter shot his brother Nathan. Parkman is being guided by an African who paints the future only this man doesn’t need any heroin to do it.

Both Peter Petrellis are played by Milo Ventimiglia. The Peter Petrelli of the present is in the process of robbing a bank with a bunch of criminals with powers. Peters goal is to keep them from harming anyone. Future Peter stuck present Peter in the body of a criminal locked up in Level 5, a prison facility maintained by the Company located inside Primatech Research designed and built to contain dangerous evolved humans. They all escaped after Sylar showed up to steal and absorb all their powers. Sylar failed and wound up locked up in Level 5 himself.

Peter and Nathan Petrellis mother shows up at Level 5 to pay Sylar a visit and reveals she’s his mother also. After this shocking revelation she unstraps him and sets him loose to feed upon another evolved human. Sylar is played by the all versatile actor Zachary Quinto. Angela Petrelli then partners Sylar with Noah Bennet, the man with the horned rim glasses, so that they can put a stop to the escapees from Level 5. Noah and Sylar show up at the bank and recapture the criminals at which point present Peter is taken back out of the body he’s been stashed in by future Peter. Future Peter, having screwed up the future, whisks present Peter away on a mission to restore it back to the way it’s supposed to be.

Claire is pissed off after having the top of her head peeled off and her brain handled and played with by Sylar. Sylar now has Claires power and apparently neither of them can die. Claires real mother is living with them in order to help protect them while her father is gone. Her mother is nothing but trouble in the making. Claire seems to be on her own mission to get even with Sylar.

Hiro and Ando are on a mission to retrieve the first half of a formula designed to give anyone powers. The formula was stolen from them by Daphne Millbrook, our lady of the blessed acceleration. Daphne uses her ability to run really, really fast to shoplift and steal things. Hiro, Ando, and Daphne all show up at a movie theatre to steal the second half of the formula from the Haitian, whose presence has supressed all of their powers. Ando knocks out the Haitian freeing their powers. Hiro takes possession of the second half of the formula which is then swiped from him by the accellerating Daphne.

Tracy Strauss, who we believed to be another personality of Niki Sanders, ventures out to learn about Niki. Tracy has been confronted with a video tape of a woman who looks exactly like her having sex with Nathan Petrelli. She accidentally froze and shattered a newspaper reporter for accusing her of being a prostitute. We realize Niki and Tracy are two entirely different people when we see them in the same room together, Tracy looking at Nikis corpse in her coffin. Nikis son Mika then taps into the internet and comes up with the name Dr. Zimmerman. It seems Dr. Zimmerman was present when both Niki and Tracy were born. Tracy pays him a visit where Zimmerman reveals to her he created the two of them.

With the revelation of Niki and Tracys creation we are left in the dark until next week. I have to give them credit for being able to keep me in suspense every week.
